KVKK notice

Under Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") and, where it applies, the EU GDPR, this notice explains how ScrollTwin processes your personal data.

What we process

• Account data: your email address and language.
• Profile summary: the summary extracted in your browser from your social media export and sent with your consent: interest topics, public accounts and channels you follow, artists you play most, hashtags and how your activity spreads over the day.
• Match preferences: display name, gender, who you want to meet, birth year, age range, city and optional contact details.
• Technical data: IP address, briefly, for rate limiting and abuse prevention.

Your ZIP file, messages, photos, videos, contacts, locations and search history are never sent to our servers; the file is only read in your own browser.

Gender and orientation preferences may count as special category data, so they are processed only with your explicit consent and only for matching.

Purposes and legal bases

• Creating your Scroll Profile and matching you with people of similar taste: explicit consent.
• Running your account, sending sign-in links and match notifications: performance of a contract.
• Security and abuse prevention: legitimate interest.

Who receives it

Your data is stored and processed on infrastructure from Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) for hosting, database, AI similarity and email delivery. This international transfer is based on your explicit consent. When interest is mutual, the contact detail you added is shown only to that match. Your data is never sold or shared for advertising.

How long we keep it

• Profiles not linked to an account are deleted automatically 30 days after creation.
• Your account and profile are kept until you delete them; you can permanently delete everything from your account page.
• Sign-in links are valid for 15 minutes and sessions for 60 days.

Your rights

You can ask whether we process your data, request access, correction or deletion, learn who it was shared with, object, and claim compensation. You can withdraw consent at any time. Send requests to support@scrolltwin.com.
